What is Star's Purpose?
To help you recognise the good in your own character because many people don't always give themselves enough credit for who they are.
To encourage you to help someone wherever you are. It doesn't matter what you do, it matters that you do something to help someone else.

My name is Martin Bissett and I set up the Upward Spiral Foundation to effect improvement to other people facing adversity in their lives. I record my stories here to encourage you to do something to help someone in need in your own locality.

If you would like to help keep someone clothed and warm, buying one of our sweatshirts or t-shirts will help to keep someone warm.

The Causes We Support
Between January and March 2022, the Upward Spiral Foundation together with Drive-By Do-Gooders started a social experiment by donating tents to the homeless and vulnerable on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles.
