My name is Martin Bissett and I set up the Upward Spiral Foundation to effect improvement to other people facing adversity in their lives. I record my stories here to encourage you to do something to help someone in need in your own locality.
If you would like to help keep someone clothed and warm, buying one of our sweatshirts or t-shirts will help to keep someone warm.
If you would like to buy someone a warm drink who doesn’t have one, buying one of our mugs will supply many hot drinks for someone.
If you would like to provide comfort for someone who is feeling uncomfortable, buying one of our cushions will give comfort in lots of different ways.
The Upward Spiral Foundation helps organisations at grass roots level and is self-funded.
Take inspiration from our stories and help someone in your area and tell us about it.

Between January and March 2022, the Upward Spiral Foundation together with Drive-By Do-Gooders started a social experiment by donating tents to the homeless and vulnerable on Skid Row in Downtown Los Angeles.
